Job summary

Eurofins USA PSS Insourcing Solutions in West Point, PA is seeking a laboratory technician to develop and perform assays supporting biopharmaceutical testing. You will prepare small volume solutions, maintain GMP-compliant records, document results, and communicate with team and client staff.

The ideal candidate holds a B.A./B.S. in a life science, has at least 6 months GMP/PCR experience, and can work independently or on a team.

Qualifications

• B.A. or B.S. in Biochemistry, Biology, Chemistry, Biomedical Eng., or related science.
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.
• Must have at least 6 months of GMP and PCR experience in a pharmaceutical environment.

Job Description

Qualifications

Basic Minimum Qualifications :

• B.A. or B.S. in Biochemistry, Biology, Chemistry, Biomedical Eng., or related science
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
• Must have at least 6 months of GMP and PCR experience in a pharmaceutical environment

The Ideal Candidate Would Possess

• At least six months industry GMP laboratory experience including molecular biology techniques and small volume pipetting
• General knowledge of cell culture, virology, molecular biology and aseptic techniques.
• Experience in cell culture is preferred
• Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills
• Excellent communication (verbal and written)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude
• Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies

Additional Information

Position is full-time, Mon-Fri 9am-5pm. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of West Point, PA are encouraged to apply.
