Eurofins Scientific is seeking a laboratory technician at West Point, PA. The role involves developing assays, pipetting small volumes, maintaining GMP-compliant records, and ensuring accurate test results while working both independently and within a team.

The candidate should have GMP/PCR experience and a relevant science degree. Excellent benefits accompany a full-time schedule, with opportunities to grow in a large, multinational testing organization.

Job Description

• Develop and perform assays to support biopharmaceutical testing
• Prepare and pipette small volume solutions

Qualifications

Basic Minimum Qualifications:

• B.A. or B.S. in Biochemistry, Biology, Chemistry, Biomedical Eng., or related science
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
• Must have at least 6 months of GMP and PCR experience in a pharmaceutical environment

The ideal candidate would possess:

• At least six monthsindustry GMP laboratory experienceincluding molecular biology techniques and small volume pipetting
• General knowledge of cell culture, virology, molecular biology and aseptic techniques.
• Experience in cell culture is preferred
• Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills
• Excellent communication (verbal and written)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude
• Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies

Additional Information

Position is full-time, Mon-Fri 9am-5pm. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of West Point, PA are encouraged to apply.
