Job summary

Eurofins USA PSS Insourcing Solutions in Andover, MA is seeking a Laboratory Lead to perform protein and small molecule analyses, run RP-UPLC, RP-HPLC, and UV spectroscopy, and prepare samples with minimal supervision.

You will ensure cGMP/GLP compliance, document using electronic lab notebook, and lead a team, including scheduling and training, to maintain high quality lab operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in chemistry or related field or equivalent experience.
• 2-6 years of bioanalytical testing experience.
• Understanding of industry practices and standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform physical, chemical, and instrumental analysis of protein and small molecule therapeutics.
• Run RP-UPLC, RP-HPLC, and UV spectroscopy with minimal supervision.
• Prepare standards and samples for analysis and monthly equipment maintenance.
• Adhere to cGMP, GLP, and good documentation practices using ELN.
• Lead team, schedule, and train employees in client environment.

Job Description

Laboratory

• Perform physical, chemical, and instrumental analysis of protein and small molecule therapeutics
• Run instrumentation independently including, but not limited to RP-UPLC, RP-HPLC, and UV spectroscopy
• Preparing samples for analysis and running instrumentation with minimum supervision
• Prepare standards and samples for analysis
• Perform monthly maintenance of laboratory equipment and other laboratory support activities
• Knowledge of cGMP and LIMS

Leadership

• Support scientists with their experiments based on company protocol, method, and procedures
• Follow GLP/GMP and good documentation using electronic lab notebook
• Help with organizing and cleaning of lab and work environment
• Follow documentation and safety practices
• Ensure adherence to highest quality and efficiency standards in laboratory operations
• Lead team, schedule, and train employees in client environment
• Ensure adherence to highest quality and efficiency standards in laboratory operations
• Ensure coverage and performance
• Performs administrative tasks related to team member growth and development
• Adeptly balance technical lab work with leadership responsibilities
• Foster morale and teamwork

Qualifications

Required

• Bachelor's degree in chemistry or other related degree concentration, or equivalent directly related experience
• 2-6 years of bioanalytical testing experience
• Understanding of industry practices and standards is required

Additional Information

The position is full-time, Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm, with overtime as needed. Candidates living within a commutable range of Andover, MA are encouraged to apply.
