A leading company in senior living is seeking a PCC Systems Administrator to enhance EHR processes across communities. This role involves project execution, collaboration with clinical and IT teams, and ensuring optimal system performance. JOB SUMMARY
The PCC Systems Administrator plays a central role in driving key initiatives related to the PointClickCare EHR within Pinnacle Senior Living communities. Focused on project execution, this role ensures the successful implementation of process improvements, feature integrations, and system optimizations that align with both clinical and operational needs. By closely collaborating with clinical, operational, and IT teams, the PCC Systems Administrator ensures timely delivery of projects, fosters cross-functional alignment, and enhances overall operational efficiency and quality care delivery.
JOB DUTIES
Strategic Projects & Process Enhancement.
Lead and support cross-functional initiatives that enhance the use of PointClickCare (PCC) across Pinnacle senior living communities.
Identify and prioritize opportunities to improve EHR workflows, user experience, and data accuracy.
Collaborate with field leaders, IT, clinical operations, and vendor partners to gather requirements and define project goals, timelines, and deliverables.
Coordinate end-to-end project work — from discovery and planning through testing, implementation, and post-launch support.
Support change management efforts by communicating project updates, training impacted users, and ensuring smooth transitions to new processes.
Field & Clinical Collaboration
Serve as a strategic partner to community-based teams to ensure EHR solutions support real-world workflows and improve care delivery.
Translate clinical and operational needs into technical requirements for configuration or system changes.
Advocate for the field in cross-functional discussions, ensuring all EHR-related initiatives align with Pennant’s care values and community culture.
System Administration
Create and maintain user-facing documentation such as SOPs, quick reference guides, and access workflows.
Assist the UAP team in user provisioning and deprovisioning in PCC, ensuring appropriate role-based access controls are applied.
Monitor system performance and proactively identify areas for optimization or stability improvements.
Coordinate and validate software updates, patches, and new module implementations in collaboration with PCC and IT teams.
Maintain data integrity through regular audits, error resolution, and workflow validation.
Partner with compliance and QA teams to ensure system configurations and documentation align with state and federal regulations.
Maintain a configuration and change management log to document system changes and the rationale behind them.
Conduct regular training and refresher sessions for key user groups to promote best practices and system adoption.

QUALIFICATIONS
2+ years of experience working with or supporting an Electronic Health Record (EHR); experience with PointClickCare preferred.
Understanding of clinical workflows in a senior living environment (assisted living, memory care, or similar).
Experience coordinating or supporting system- or process-focused projects across departments.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work across departments.
Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, evolving environment
