Job summary

Foxconn Assembly, LLC seeks a skilled Test Engineer to support electronics manufacturing. You will develop, implement, and optimize test environments and procedures for PCBA and system-level products, working with Manufacturing, Quality, NPI, Maintenance, and Operations teams.

You will analyze test data, troubleshoot issues, support NPI readiness, and drive improvements in test coverage, cycle time, and product quality in a fast-paced environment at our San Jose facility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a technical field.
• 2–3+ years of experience in test engineering or electronics manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of PCBA manufacturing processes and test methodologies.
• Hands-on knowledge of ICT, Flying Probe, Functional Test, and X‑Ray inspection.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain test environments, test plans, test processes, and test procedures for PCBA and electronic products.
• Develop and support test programs for manufacturing test equipment, including ICT, Flying Probe, Functional Test, X-Ray, and related test systems.
• Support test engineering activities for New Product Introduction (NPI), including product validation and readiness.
• Analyze production test data, failures, downtime, and repair trends to identify root causes and corrective actions.
• Troubleshoot PCBs, assemblies, fixtures, and test equipment and provide recommendations to improve quality and test performance.
• Provide day-to-day technical support to manufacturing operations and promptly respond to issues on the production line and test equipment.
