Job summary

Rocket EMS, Inc. is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support and improve PCBA manufacturing processes in a high-mix electronics environment.

You will work closely with production, process engineering, quality, test, materials, and program management to ensure assemblies are built efficiently and in compliance with customer requirements. The role requires hands-on experience in SMT, through-hole, rework, selective solder, conformal coating, test, and final inspection.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of manufacturing engineering experience in PCBA/electronics manufacturing.
• Ability to read assembly drawings, BOMs, schematics, and customer specs.
• Experience with IPC standards and manufacturing documentation.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day PCBA manufacturing operations and ensure schedules, quality, and commitments are met.
• Develop, maintain, and improve processes, work instructions, routings, and production docs.
• Provide technical support to production operators, leads, and quality inspectors.
• Review customer docs, Gerber files, ECOs, deviations, and manufacturing requirements.
• Support new product introduction activities and transition to production.
