Job summary

SpaceX in Redmond, WA seeks a Supply Chain Engineer for PCB to drive supplier development for Starlink program. You will coordinate with design, R&D, and production to ensure PCB continuity and high-quality delivery.

Role requires PCB experience, supplier quality expertise, and strong cross-functional collaboration; located in Washington with potential travel and competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• Experience with PCBs, laminates, electrochemical processes, or microelectronics fabrication.
• Knowledge of supplier quality processes (PPAP, APQP, FAIR, RCCA; ISO 9000/TS/AS9100/NADCAP).
• Ability to work in fast-paced cross-functional environment with minimal oversight.

Responsibilities

• Own continuity of supply for PCBs on Starlink program.
• Collaborate with design, R&D, commercial supply chain, hardware reliability, and production teams to manage suppliers.
• Support procurement to source parts by reviewing supplier capabilities.
• Identify, audit, and onboard new suppliers.
• Develop and implement supplier technical requirements and quality flow downs.
• Implement and monitor PPAP with selected suppliers to enable rate production.
• Ensure qualification and reliability activities at suppliers align with requirements.
• Develop and approve process controls for critical characteristics.
• Recommend technical product improvements to reduce risk and defects.
• Analyze supplier quality and delivery metrics to identify trends and drive improvements.
• Provide feedback to suppliers on manufacturing methods to reduce costs and increase yields.
• Function as liaison between purchasing, engineering, manufacturing, and suppliers.
• Drive supplier root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Lead projects and present reports to internal teams, management, and suppliers.
• Act as internal owner of SPC, yield improvement, tool qualification, and cost performance.
