Job summary

SpaceX in Redmond, WA is seeking a Hardware Development Engineer to support Starlink PCBA manufacturing. You will own PCBA processes, drive new product introduction, and design tooling to enable scalable production.

Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in engineering and 1+ years in manufacturing process engineering, SMT, DOE, or PCB design. You will collaborate with design engineers to improve yield and manufacturability in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in engineering or related field.
• 1+ years of experience in manufacturing process engineering, SMT, DOE, PCB design or layout.

Responsibilities

• Process engineering for PCBA manufacturing and NPI.
• Design line layout, tooling, and DFA feedback to design engineers.
• Automate and simplify high-reliability manufacturing processes for production independence.
• Identify improvements for yield, quality, and manufacturability.
• Manage work instructions, process docs and training.
