Job summary

Liberty Personnel Services, Inc. is seeking a PCB Solder Assembler to perform hand soldering of SM and through-hole components to IPC Class 3 standards in a precision electronics environment.

The role involves assembling PCBs and subassemblies, using microscopes and soldering stations, and following detailed engineering drawings. Candidate should have 2+ years in electronics assembly, knowledge of IPC standards, and a high attention to detail.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience in PCB assembly or related manufacturing.
• Experience with surface-mount and through-hole soldering techniques.
• Knowledge of IPC J-STD-001 and IPC-A-610 standards.
• IPC certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform hand soldering of surface-mount and through-hole components to IPC Class 3 standards.
• Assemble and solder printed circuit boards (PCBs), subassemblies, and related electronic components.
• Utilize microscopes, magnification equipment, soldering stations, and other assembly tools to complete precision work.
• Follow assembly drawings, work instructions, specifications, and engineering documentation.
• Inspect completed work to ensure compliance with quality standards and manufacturing requirements.
• Adhere to ESD procedures, quality standards, and established manufacturing processes.
• Support production schedules while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
