SYSGRATION AMERICA CORPORATION in Plano, TX is seeking a Quality Control Technician to inspect electronic components, SMT/PCBA assemblies, and finished products to ensure compliance with drawings and procedures. This role collaborates with Production, Engineering, and Quality teams to document findings and support root-cause investigations.

You will perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections, document defects, participate in MRB, and maintain accurate quality records.

Formación

• 1-3 years of quality inspection experience, preferably in electronics manufacturing.
• Experience with ISO 9001 quality systems and ERP/MES.
• IPC-A-610 certification or experience working to IPC-A-610 standards.
• J-STD-001 knowledge or certification.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, work instructions, inspection specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify workmanship defects.
• Ability to accurately complete quality documentation.

Responsabilidades

• Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections of electronic components, PCBAs, and finished assemblies.
• Inspect SMT and through-hole assemblies for workmanship, solder quality, component placement, polarity, and other defects.
• Perform visual and dimensional inspections using drawings, specifications, work instructions, and customer requirements.
• Verify components and assemblies against drawings, specifications, and approved samples.
• Identify, document, and segregate nonconforming material.
• Complete inspection records, defect reports, NCRs, and other quality documentation accurately.
• Support production line inspections and provide feedback regarding workmanship and recurring defects.
• Assist with first article, first-piece, and in-process inspections as required.
• Perform basic functional and electrical testing of electronic assemblies according to procedures.
• Assist Quality Engineers and Supervisors with root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Participate in MRB activities and assist with disposition of nonconforming material.
• Monitor production processes for adherence to quality requirements.
• Communicate quality issues promptly to Production, Engineering, and Quality leadership.
• Maintain accurate inspection and testing records in the quality system.
• Support audits and maintain compliance with company quality procedures.
• Follow ESD, safety, and 5S requirements.
• Assist with calibration and verification of inspection and measurement equipment.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe inspection area.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
