Job summary

Nextek, Inc. in Madison, AL is seeking a Quality Engineer to lead final QA for PCB assembly, writing and verifying specifications and supporting root-cause analysis with manufacturing, engineering, and quality teams.

The ideal candidate has strong knowledge of IPC-610 and J-STD, experience with CAPA and MRB processes, FOD/ESD control, and clear communication; this role requires flexibility with shifts and a commitment to delivering high-quality products.

Qualifications

• Must be familiar with IPC-610 and J STD workmanship standards; certification preferred.
• Knowledgeable in continuous improvement techniques and problem solving.
• A strong team player with excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be able to review and approve AS9102 FARs, and supplier data packages.
• Shall have strong experience in ESD, FOD management, CAPA, Non-conforming materials and MRB.
• Provide technical support for all inspection processes.
• Must be flexible to changing work schedules and be able to see activities through to completion.
• Must be a US citizen.

Responsibilities

• Function as a Quality Engineer/Final QA Supervisor for a PCB assembly facility.
• Write, review, and verify applicable specifications; support root cause analysis and corrective action.
• Conduct process audits and track corrective actions to completion; supervise the Quality Inspection Group.
