Job summary

TTM Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Process Engineering Technician to gain strong experience in chemical engineering and equipment qualification.

The role emphasizes on-the-job training with mentorship, safety protocols, and exposure to acids, bases, and oxidizers in a manufacturing setting. Responsibilities include qualifying new equipment, supporting quality improvements in etching and plating, determining process changes, and identifying root causes of defects.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in chemistry or engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Experience as PCB wet lab technician or etch operator with conveyorized equipment.

Responsibilities

• Qualify new equipment, including hands-on testing and documentation.
• Support or initiate programs to improve quality in etching, plating, and other processes.
• Determine acceptability of product and whether to proceed or change the process.
• Determine root cause of defects.
• Assist in wet lab analysis and operations, including titrations, CVS, atomic absorption, UV-Vis, and testing.
• Complete routine checks of equipment, process, and product on a regular schedule and execute corrective actions.
• Troubleshoot controllers, conveyorized equipment, and lab equipment.
• Write and edit procedures.
