Job summary

TTM Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Process Engineering Technician to join our California manufacturing operations. You will qualify new equipment, support process improvements in etching and plating, and determine product acceptability while documenting results.

The role emphasizes on-the-job training, safety protocols around chemicals, and hands-on lab work including titrations and analytical testing. Associate or higher in chemistry or engineering preferred; overtime and weekend work may be

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or higher in chemistry or engineering OR equivalent professional experience.
• Experience as a PCB wet lab technician, an etch operator with conveyorized equipment, or repair/installation of conveyorized chemical equipment.
• Ability to troubleshoot equipment and software.
• Strong computer skills including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint; Google Docs acceptable.
• Ability to stand, lift up to 40 pounds, and work in confined spaces.

Responsibilities

• Qualify new equipment with hands-on testing and documentation.
• Support or initiate programs to improve quality in etching, plating, and other processes.
• Determine acceptability of product and whether to proceed or change the process.
• Determine root cause of defects.
• Assist in wet lab analysis and operations (titrations, CVS, atomic absorption, UV-Vis).
• Complete routine checks of equipment, process, and product; execute corrective actions.
• Troubleshoot controllers, equipment, and lab equipment.
• Write and edit procedures.
