Job summary

Fralock is seeking a Process Engineer to lead wet process PCB manufacturing, from coating to plating and cleaning, in Mason/Chatsworth. You will partner with Production, Quality, Maintenance and Product Engineering to improve yield, throughput and cost while meeting safety and environmental requirements.

The role requires hands-on process development, DOE, SPC and CAPAs, with experience in PCB fabrication, IPC standards, and ERP systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering; 3–5 years of PCB process experience.
• Strong knowledge of PCB fabrication, wet processes, and DOE/statistical methods.
• Experience with IPC standards and ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain PCB fabrication processes.
• Serve as SME for wet process operations including: coating, lamination, UV exposure, imaging, etching, plating, and cleaning.
• Monitor process parameters to ensure product quality, consistency, and throughput.
• Work on work center process design and development for new products with equipment, tooling, and SOPs.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives focusing on safety, quality, efficiency, and cost savings.
• Support new product introductions (NPI) by developing manufacturing processes and validating capability.
• Perform DOE and process validation activities and CAPA with Quality Engineering.
