Job summary

A Process Engineer role at Adecco Permanent Recruitment focuses on developing and maintaining manufacturing processes for PCB assembly and electronics manufacturing. You will translate customer requirements into robust processes, manage BOMs, and support ERP/MRP activities to ensure data accuracy.

You will also create process documentation and programming for SMT pick-and-place and AOI, while leading continuous improvement and NPI support across Manufacturing, Purchasing, Quality, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering field; 3–5 years manufacturing/process experience.
• Experience with BOMs, routings, ECNs/ECOs and production documentation.
• Strong technical aptitude; ability to learn ERP/MRP and manufacturing tools.
• Excellent organization, detail orientation, and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain process documentation, routing, and work instructions.
• Translate customer requirements into effective manufacturing processes.
• Create and maintain BOMs and convert customer BOMs into internal systems.
• Generate process documentation using MES and documentation systems.
• Support ERP/MRP activities and ensure data accuracy.
• Create and maintain SMT pick-and-place and AOI programs.
• Manage ECNs/ECOs and maintain revision control.
• Coordinate stencil procurement from Gerber data.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Purchasing, Quality, Test, and Engineering.
• Provide engineering support for NPI programs.
• Identify opportunities for process optimization, cost reduction, and quality improvements.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives and training.
