Job summary

Sanmina Corporation in San Jose, CA is seeking a Chemical Process Technician to support PCB plating operations in an ITAR facility. You will enter process parameters, monitor baths, and ensure equipment operates correctly and safely.

Responsibilities also include transferring solutions, replacing filters, housekeeping, and generating basic reports from the computer interface. The role requires a High School diploma, at least 1 year of industry experience, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and good

Qualifications

• High School Education required.
• Minimum 1 year industry experience preferred.
• Familiarity with computers.
• Ability to work in and around chemicals.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be able to stand, walk, push and pull transportation carts between depts.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs.

Responsibilities

• Enter operating parameters via computer interface and view screens to decipher settings.
• Operate and maintain department equipment.
• Measure quantities and make chemical adds to baths or sumps.
• Transfer solutions between tanks, totes, or barrels.
• Replace filter material used in process tanks.
• Clean, dry and dispose of used filter material.
• Perform general housekeeping and inspect product quality.
• Extract computer reports for process monitoring.
• Assist routine preventative maintenance.
• Scrub and clean mechanical devices or hardware.
• Assist in replacement of non-precision mechanical devices.
• Work on/around open sumps, plating tanks or mechanical hoists.
