Job summary

Sanmina Corporation in San Jose, CA, is seeking a skilled process associate to perform chemical adds and manage baths and sumps in the PCB plating operation. The role requires familiarity with computers, good manual dexterity, and the ability to work around hazardous chemicals.

You will enter operating parameters via a computer interface, operate and maintain equipment, monitor process quality, and support housekeeping and safety practices.

Qualifications

• High School Education or equivalent.
• 1 year industry experience preferred.
• Familiarity with computers.
• Ability to work in and around chemicals.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be able to stand, walk, push and pull carts.
• Must lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Enter operating parameters and view screens to decipher settings.
• Operate and maintain department equipment.
• Measure quantities and add chemicals to baths or sumps.
• Transfer solutions between tanks, totes, or barrels.
• Replace filter material and dispose of used material.
• Clean and maintain area; inspect product per specs.
• Extract computer reports and assist with preventive maintenance.
• Scrub and clean mechanical devices; assist in replacing non-precision parts.
• Work around open sumps, plating tanks, or hoists.
