Job summary

Sanmina is seeking a Maintenance Technician to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment in a PCB manufacturing environment. You will perform preventative maintenance, relocate equipment, and support process engineering with improvements to increase capacity.

The role requires 2–4 years in a production facility with strong electrical knowledge and ability to read blueprints and schematics.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-4 years of related experience in a production facility (PCB shop background).
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems for installations and repairs.
• Knowledge of electronics and PLC controls.

What You'll Do

The Maintenance Technician position is responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment in a PCB Manufacturing environment.

Nature Of Duties/Responsibilities

• Perform projects that require mechanical, electrical, and plumbing skills.
• Relocate equipment and services for manufacturing equipment.
• Repair, replace walls and other related items for incoming new equipment.
• Perform Preventative Maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
• Support process engineering on improvement projects. Install "new" equipment for increased capacity or replacement.
• Support facility cost reduction / security / improvement projects.

What You'll Bring

• Minimum 2-4 years of related experience in a production facility (prefer Printed Circuit Board shop background).
• Must have strong knowledge of electrical systems for installations and repairs.
• Knowledge of electronics and PLC controls.
• Must have ability to read blueprints and schematics.
• Prior work experience with manufacturing equipment in the field of chemical process systems, CNC mechanical systems and general facility utilities such as compressors, chillers and boilers.
• Must be able to work in a fast paced production environment.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time, lift and carry products and/or equipment of up to 50 lbs.
• Must have good writing, reading and verbal communication skills.

At Sanmina, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $43,680.00 and $56,243.20 and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Additionally, this role might be eligible for discretionary bonuses or commission payments as well as relocation.
