Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer in Irvine, CA, to drive PCBA development and manufacturing efficiency in a fast-paced electronics environment. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field; Master's not required but advantageous.
• 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role.
• Experience with SMT and PCB operations.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality control, costs, and production optimization.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and experience with complex manufacturing operations.
• Strong technical skills for large cross-functional projects.
• Excellent communication skills for stakeholders.
• Strong leadership with ability to develop a high-performing team.
• Proficiency in MS Office and other relevant software.
• Solid understanding of industry safety standards and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Designing, implementing, monitoring, and maintaining the manufacturing processes.
• Developing and implementing process improvements to reduce costs and cycles.
• Managing areas of manufacturing including PCBA Development and PCB.
• Implementing strategies to promote production efficiency.
• Collaborating with design engineers to improve manufacturability and economical production.
• Investigating and troubleshooting product and production issues.
• Providing technical expertise and training to team members.
• Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Designing and improving electronic parts, components, products, and systems for manufacturing.
• Implementing EMS to enhance manufacturing processes.
