Jobot in Irvine, CA is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer with strong electronics manufacturing expertise to join our team. The role focuses on PCBA development within electronics manufacturing to drive operational efficiency and effective production.

This is a permanent position with relocation assistance available if needed. You will design, implement, and monitor manufacturing processes, lead cross-functional improvements, and ensure health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field; Master’s degree advantageous.
• 2+ years in a Manufacturing Engineering role.
• Proven SMT and PCB operations experience.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality control, and cost optimization.
• Excellent problem-solving and multi-project leadership abilities.
• Strong communication and ability to influence stakeholders.
• Familiarity with safety standards and regulations.

Responsabilités

• Designing, implementing, monitoring, and maintaining the manufacturing processes.
• Developing and implementing process improvements to reduce costs and cycles.
• Managing various areas of manufacturing including PCBA Development and PCB.
• Implementing strategies in the production process to promote efficiency.
• Collaborating with design engineers to improve product design for manufacturability and economical production.
• Investigating and troubleshooting product and production issues.
• Providing technical expertise and training to other team members.
• Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Designing and improving electronic parts, components, products, and systems for effective manufacturing.
• Implementing EMS to enhance manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities:

1. Designing, implementing, monitoring, and maintaining the manufacturing processes.

2. 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role.
3. Proven experience in SMT and PCB operations.
4. Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.
5. Excellent problem-solving abilities and experience with complex manufacturing operations.
6. Strong technical skills including the ability to manage large, cross-functional projects.
7. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey complex information to a range of key stakeholders.
8. Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to manage and develop a high-performing team.
9. Proficiency in MS Office and other relevant software.
10. Strong understanding of industry safety standards and regulations.
