Job summary

Sanmina Energy (Houston) is seeking an PCBA/Electronics Inspector to perform quality control inspections on printed circuit board assemblies and electronic assemblies in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

You will inspect using scopes and vision systems, record defect data, and prepare NCRs. The role requires reading drawings/POs, attention to detail, and IPC-610/IPC-620 Class 3 experience where possible.

Qualifications

• High School degree or GED required.
• Must have 2–4 years of quality experience.
• Ability to read and understand drawings and purchase orders.
• Proficiency with computers: word processing, spreadsheets, databases, presentations.
• Excellent attention to detail and time management; ability to work independently.
• Experience inspecting PCB assemblies to IPC-610 Class 3 and IPC-620 Class 3 preferred.
• Ability to read customer specifications from drawings and PO’s.

Responsibilities

• Inspect PCB assemblies and electronic assemblies per internal, customer, and industry requirements.
• Record and maintain logs of defect types and counts; communicate findings to team.
• Perform First Article Inspections and create reports of findings.
• Prepare NCRs to document defects per facility requirements.
• Identify defect locations on assemblies and segregate rejects.
• Conduct audits and train employees on processes, policies, standards, and procedures.
• Create inspection check sheets and test plans based on drawings and procedures.
