Job summary

TechniPower, Inc. in Marina, CA is seeking an Electronics Quality Inspector to perform final inspection of PCB assemblies under a microscope, ensuring IPC‑A‑610 conformance. You will log defects in the quality system and collaborate with the Production Manager to address issues in an ISO 9001:2015 and ITAR environment.

The role is onsite, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, Monday–Friday, with overtime typically available. Training on the production line and cross‑functional teamwork are part of daily duties.

Qualifications

• IPC-A-610 certification
• Experience performing visual inspection of printed circuit board assemblies
• Familiarity with surface mount and through-hole assembly defects
• Strong attention to detail and reliable attendance
• Must be eligible for work in an ITAR environment

Responsibilities

• Perform final inspection of PCB assemblies under microscope against IPC-A-610 standards
• Log findings in the quality system by scanning work orders and recording defect types
• Work with the Production Manager and a small inspection team to resolve quality issues
• Operate in an ISO 9001:2015 certified and ITAR registered environment
• Support aerospace/defense, semiconductor equipment, biomedical, and industrial controls projects

Job Description

I have a client located in the Marina, CA area that has an opportunity for an Electronics Quality Inspector.

In this role, you will be working as an Electronics Quality Inspector for a contract electronics manufacturer producing printed circuit board assemblies, cable assemblies, and box builds. You will perform final inspection of PCB assemblies under microscope against IPC-A-610 standards, identifying and documenting defects before product ships. You will log findings in the company's quality system by scanning work orders and recording defect types, and will work directly alongside the Production Manager and a small inspection team to resolve quality issues as they come up. You will work in an ISO 9001:2015 certified and ITAR registered environment. Products serve the aerospace and defense, semiconductor equipment, biomedical, and industrial controls industries.

This position is a Contract to Possible Permanent role that is a long term need for my client. This role must be worked onsite.

Schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Overtime is typically available if desired.

Pay range: $23.00 - $29.00 per hour, depending on experience and certification.
