Job summary

ADTRAN, Inc. in Huntsville, AL is seeking an ICT Technician to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair PCBAs to component level using ICT equipment and standard test tools. You will support manufacturing by identifying root causes and ensuring repairs meet quality standards.

This role requires an Associate degree in electronics or equivalent, 1–5 years of experience, and proficiency with DMMs, oscilloscopes, schematics, and ICT systems (Teradyne/GenRad). Shift is Fri-Sun, 6:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Applied Electronics or equivalent experience.
• 1–5 years of experience troubleshooting and debugging digital electronic circuits.
• Ability to read and interpret electronic schematics and technical documentation.
• Experience using standard electronic test equipment (DMM, oscilloscope, frequency generators).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair PCBAs to component level.
• Use ICT reports and schematics to diagnose and repair units.
• Verify failures and determine root causes including equipment setup and component issues.
• Operate ICT equipment (Teradyne/GenRad) and perform rework on PTH/SMT.
• Ensure repairs meet workmanship, quality, and reliability standards.
• Follow Adtran procedures and quality requirements during repair activities.
