Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a PCB Designer for Starshield to create layouts for in-house boards, collaborating with Hardware Development Engineers to optimize designs from schematics to fabrication. You’ll contribute to diverse designs, from RF arrays to solar converters, ensuring manufacturability and test readiness.

Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or 3+ years of PCB layout, plus 1+ year of PCB experience; familiar with Mentor Xpedition and Altium Designer is

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or 3+ years of PCB layout experience.
• 1+ years of professional PCB layout experience.
• Knowledge of design for manufacturability, assembly, and test.

Responsibilities

• Determine layer stackup, component placement, routing, and signal integrity for digital, analog, RF, and power PCB designs.
• Create and maintain PCB libraries and documentation for fabrication.
• Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to improve design rules and test/Manufacture guidelines.
• Utilize PCB design tools and train team members on tools.
