Job summary

Amazon Leo Government (ALG) is seeking a PCB Design Engineer to lead schematic reviews, component selection, and multi-layer board layouts for satellite and ground systems. You will partner with electrical, mechanical, and firmware teams to ensure robust, manufacturable designs that meet performance targets.

The successful candidate will have hands-on experience with high-speed design, IPC standards, and DFM/DFT plus a focus on producibility and testability for space hardware.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of engineering experience or equivalent.
• Experience with prototyping and implementation.

Responsibilities

• Translate customer requirements into robust PCB solutions backed by data.
• Review schematics, select components, and lead layout and bring-up.
• Collaborate across electrical, mechanical, and firmware teams.
• Apply DFM/DFT, impedance control, and high-speed routing.
• Prepare fabrication docs, BOMs, Gerber, and test plans.
• Participate in reviews and provide layout improvement recommendations.
