Job summary

Lockheed Martin in Moorestown Township, New Jersey, seeks a PCB Design Engineer to develop complex circuit boards per customer specs. You will collaborate with clients, select components, and perform high-speed signal integrity analyses to ensure timing and reduce EMI.

You will define power distribution, PCB stack-up criteria, and oversee layout, routing, validation, and integration plans to deliver reliable hardware solutions for defense applications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field.
• Experience in digital circuit board design.
• Familiarity with Altium Designer, Mentor Expedition, or Zuken CR-8000.
• Familiarity with LTspice or Siemens HyperLynx.
• Knowledge of component selection, power distribution, schematic capture and PCB stack-up design.
• Ability to validate hardware and integrate with other PCBs and assemblies.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients to translate requirements into technical specs.
• Select components based on performance, reliability, and cost.
• Perform high-speed signal integrity analysis to ensure timing and mitigate EMI.
• Develop power profiles and onboard power distribution strategies.
• Specify PCB stack-up criteria for signal integrity and thermal management.
• Oversee layout and routing per design guidelines and standards.
• Create and execute validation and integration plans to verify performance.
