Job summary

Lockheed Martin in Dallas, TX is seeking a Circuit Card Design Engineer to own end-to-end CCAs—from architecture and schematic capture to layout, prototype build and test. You will partner with systems, mechanical, firmware/software and manufacturing groups to ensure designs meet performance and environmental requirements while keeping programs on schedule.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering or closely related STEM field, Master’s preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in circuit design engineering or related discipline.
• Experience with circuit card design, integration and test across digital/analog/FPGA.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture, schematic capture and layout for CCAs used in missiles and sensors.
• Define and document system, performance, interface and environmental requirements.
• Conduct trade studies and recommend optimal design approaches.
• Perform circuit simulation and analysis to validate functionality and margins.
• Capture schematics and collaborate to produce robust layouts and routing.
• Deliver complete design assurance packages for senior review.
• Coordinate with systems, mechanical, firmware/software and manufacturing teams.
• Manage BOM, parts sourcing and prototype build activities.
