Job summary

Intellectt Inc. is seeking an experienced PCB Design Engineer based in Austin, TX to design high‑speed PCBs from schematic through Gerber release using Cadence Allegro.

The ideal candidate will handle digital, analog, mixed‑signal and RF boards, manage libraries, routing, layer stack‑ups, and interface standards such as SATA, DDR4/5, USB and PCIe while collaborating with cross‑functional teams.

Qualifications

• Experience with Cadence Allegro V17.2 or V17.4 is mandatory.
• Hands-on in high-speed PCB routing, including length matching.
• Lifecycle from schematic to Gerber release for complex PCBs.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop PCB layouts using Cadence Allegro.
• Manage libraries, constraints, placement and routing.

We are seeking an experienced PCB Design Engineer with strong expertise in PCB ECAD design using Cadence Allegro. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience in high-speed PCB design, including digital, analog, mixed‑signal, and RF boards, from schematic through Gerber release.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop PCB layouts using Cadence Allegro V17.2 / V17.4.
• Manage PCB libraries, design constraints, component placement, and routing.
• Develop digital, analog, mixed‑signal, and RF PCB designs.
• Perform high-speed routing, length matching, and power plane design.
• Define layer stack-ups and ensure creepage and clearance requirements are met.
• Support high-speed interfaces including SATA, DDR4/DDR5, USB, Ethernet, PCIe, and PMIC.
• Take PCB designs from schematics through manufacturing documentation and Gerber release.
• Collaborate with customers and cross-functional engineering teams.
• Provide technical guidance and support to team members.
• Ensure designs meet industry standards and manufacturing requirements.

Required Qualifications

• Strong experience in PCB ECAD design using Cadence Allegro V17.2 or V17.4 (Mandatory).
• Hands‑on experience with Cadence Allegro ECAD tools and PCB library development.
• Experience using the Constraint Editor System.
• Strong understanding of the complete PCB design lifecycle from schematic to Gerber release.
• Experience with Digital, Analog, Mixed‑Signal, and RF PCB designs.
• Knowledge of high-speed PCB routing, power planes, creepage/clearance, and length matching.
• Experience with high-speed interfaces such as SATA, DDR4, DDR5, USB, Ethernet, PCIe, and PMIC.
• Knowledge of PCB manufacturing processes and industry standards.
• Strong documentation, communication, and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
