Job summary

Ztek Consulting in Austin, TX or Cupertino, CA seeks an experienced PCB ECAD designer to craft high-speed boards from schematics to Gerber. You will use Cadence Allegro and ensure tight tolerances for RF, SATA, PCIe interfaces, and power planes.

You will work with customers and cross-functional teams, guide junior engineers, and deliver manufacturing-ready documentation and Gerber releases.

Qualifications

• Mandatory experience designing PCB ECAD using Cadence Allegro (V17.2/17.4).
• Proficiency with PCB eCAD and library management in Cadence Allegro.

Responsibilities

• Design and route high-speed PCB layouts from schematics to Gerber.
• Collaborate with customers and cross-functional teams to meet requirements.
• Maintain design rules, constraints, and complete documentation.

2 Location to work on Austin, TX or Cupertino, CA

• Experience in PCB ECAD design using Cadence Allegro V17.2 / 17.4 (Mandatory)
• Knowledge in PCB eCAD & Library using Cadence allegro eCAD tool.
• Experience in Constraints editor System,
• Strong Design knowledge from schematics to Gerber.
• Experience in Digital, Analog & Mixed signal designs.
• Knowledge on Routing High speed PCB, Power plane, Creepages and clearance, length matching
• Knowledge on High speed interfaces such (SATA, DDR4, DDR5, USB, Ethernet, PCIe, PMIC etc)
• Knowledge on RF boards
• Electrical nets routing and length matching.
• Documentation and Gerber release.
• Interaction with customer and cross functional teams.
• Guide and support team members
• Good knowledge in Industry standards and manufacturing.
