Job summary

PeerStar LLC in Pennsylvania is seeking a Certified Peer Specialist to empower others through lived experience, offering hope, understanding and 1:1 peer support that fosters growth and friendships.

As a CPS, you’ll promote self-determination, build trust, and help peers achieve personal recovery. We offer full-time and part-time opportunities; active PCB certification qualifies for a $2,000 sign-on bonus, and employment supports statewide across PA.

Qualifications

• Must have an active CPS certification through the Pennsylvania Certification Board (PCB).
• Must attest to having a mental health diagnosis and be in recovery to support others.
• 18 years or older.
• 6 months of consecutive employment or volunteer work; or 12 months of relevant experience in last 3 years.
• Ability to use iPad for documentation.
• Driver's license and reliable transportation.

Qualifications:

• Must have an active Certified Peer Specialist (CPS) certification through the Pennsylvania Certification Board (PCB).
• Must be able to attest to having a mental health diagnosis and have reached a point in their recovery pathway where they can positively support others in similar situations
• Eighteen (18) years of age and older.
• Must have maintained 6 months of consecutive employment or volunteer work experience; OR within the last three (3) years, have maintained at least 12 months of successful full or part-time paid or volunteer work experience.
• Ability to use iPad for documentation.
• Must have a driver's license and reliable transportation.
