Job summary

PeerStar LLC in Pennsylvania seeks PCB-certified Peer Specialists to provide hope, understanding, and empowerment through shared experiences. You will support individuals facing mental health challenges in community settings, offering companionship and practical recovery tools.

Role requires a valid CPS credential, ability to document via iPad, and reliable transportation. FT and PT opportunities include health benefits in some cases and a sign-on bonus for active certificants.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active Certified Peer Specialist (CPS) certification through the Pennsylvania Certification Board (PCB).
• Able to attest to a mental health diagnosis and progression in recovery to support others.
• Eighteen (18) years of age or older.
• Must have at least 6 months of consecutive employment or volunteer work, or 12 months in the last 3 years of paid/volunteer experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 peer support to individuals in the community.
• Inspire hope and empowerment through lived experience.
• Build trust and offer tools to help peers achieve personal growth.
