Job summary

KB Signaling is hiring a Production Operator for 1st shift in Grain Valley, MO. You will assemble through-hole and surface mount PCB assemblies and chassis, following controlled parts lists and drawings to ensure quality workmanship.

Responsibilities include soldering, data entry, and inventory navigation, while adhering to safety, quality, and regulatory standards. Benefits and comprehensive pay scale apply to eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• Previous PCB assembly experience.
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in a multifunctional team environment.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to read and follow assembly instructions.
• Basic soldering skills.
• Basic component identification skills.

Responsibilities

• Build through-hole (THT) and SMT PCB assemblies and chassis per parts lists, drawings and workmanship guidelines.
• Perform manual placement and hand solder through-hole components.
• Prep circuit boards for stuff line and wave solder.
• Install electronic parts, apply solder mask, and solder tape to boards.
• Enter data into computer systems.
• Crimping, soldering, auditing workmanship, reading drawings and schematics.
• Navigate an inventory management system.
• Follow Quality, Product Safety and Health/Safety/Environmental policies.
• Adhere to regulatory compliance obligations.
• Follow Integrated Management System policies and instructions.
• Support KPIs as defined in the goal tree.
