Job summary

KB Signaling in Grain Valley, MO is seeking a Production Operator – Assembly for 1st shift (Mon-Fri, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM). You will build through-hole and surface mount PCB assemblies and chassis, following controlled parts lists, drawings, and quality guidelines to ensure reliable signaling products.

You will perform manual placement, hand solder SMT/THT components, prep boards for wave solder, and maintain accurate data in the system while upholding safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Previous printed circuit board assembly experience.
• Basic math including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in a multifunctional team environment.

Responsibilities

• Build through-hole and surface mount PCB assemblies and chassis per BOM and drawings.
• Perform manual placement and hand solder through hole components.
• Prep circuit boards for stuff line and wave solder.
• Install electronic parts and apply solder mask and tape.
• Enter data into the computer system.
• Crimp, solder, audit workmanship, read drawings and schematics.
• Navigate inventory management systems.
• Support quality, safety, and environmental policies.
• Adhere to applicable regulatory obligations.
• Support Integrated Management System policies and KPIs.
