Job summary

Gage Talent Solutions seeks a detail oriented Electronics Assembly Technician (1st Shift) to support the production of high quality circuit boards and electronic assemblies.

You will inspect SMT components, perform touch up work, solder thru-hole components, assemble PCBs from blueprints and process sheets, and perform in-process inspections and mechanical assembly.

A positive attitude and ability to work well with others are essential.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of soldering techniques.
• Knowledge of electronics components.
• Prior PCB assembly experience.
• Ability to identify and distinguish color coded components.
• Positive attitude and the motivation to excel.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and perform touch up work on SMT components.
• Manual assembly of thru-hole components onto PCBs using blueprints, BOM charts, process sheets, drawings and verbal instructions.
• Soldering of thru-hole components; conduct in-process inspections of PCBs.
• Mechanical assembly of hardware using blueprints, BOM charts, process sheets, drawings and verbal instructions.

Electronics Assembly Technician (1st Shift) - Direct Hire Local employer seeking a detail oriented Electronics Assembly Technician to support the production of high quality circuit boards and electronic assemblies.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

• Inspect and perform touch up work on SMT components
• Manual assembly of thru-hole components onto printed circuit boards “PCB’s” using blueprints, bill of material charts, process sheets, drawings and or verbal instructions
• Soldering of thru-hole components Conduct in process inspections of PCBs
• Mechanical assembly of various hardware using blueprints, bill of material charts, process sheets, drawings and or verbal instructions
