Job summary

Pro-Active Engineering, a leader in PCB assembly, is seeking a General Production Operator for the 2nd shift (4:15pm–2:45am). Tasks include general assembly of printed circuit boards, hand insertion of components, testing, box build, and cleaning, following IPC Class 2 standards.

The position requires adherence to ISO Quality Management System, safe work habits, accurate workmanship, and ability to read assembly documentation. Maintain clean, organized work area and prepare for the next shift.

Qualifications

• Experience with IPC Class 2 standards.
• Knowledge of ISO Quality Management System.
• Ability to read assembly process documentation.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to ISO Quality Management System.
• Follow assembly process documentation ensuring product meets requirements.
• Manual insertion of through-hole components per IPC Class 2 standards.
• Prepare wires and leads through cutting, clipping, and tinning.
• Program and test boards as needed and package assemblies for shipping.
• Keep work area clean and organized and stock supplies for the next shift.
