Job summary

Intervala, LLC in Mount Pleasant, PA is seeking 20 PCB Assemblers to support a major defense customer. This role involves building through-hole and surface mount assemblies, following controlled parts lists, drawings, and quality workmanship guidelines.

You will cut and form components, place parts manually, and apply masking before soldering. The work is high-volume, detail-focused, and requires reading blueprints and instructions with precision.

Qualifications

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, job orders, specifications, drawings, schematics, process sheets, wiring diagrams, and small print.
  • Must have high accuracy and attention to detail in a high-volume, detail-intensive environment.
  • Ability to read and follow instructions including small print.

Responsibilities

  • Build through-hole and SMT PCB assemblies according to parts lists and drawings.
  • Cut and form components as prep work.
  • Perform manual placement of components.
  • Apply protective masking prior to soldering.

Please note: This is very tedious, repetitive work that requires a great attention to detail, fine finger dexterity, and the ability to read small print.

Job Summary & Essential Functions

Build through-hole (THT) and surface mount (SMT) printed circuit board assemblies, placing components on boards per controlled parts lists, drawing documentation and quality workmanship guidelines.

  • Cut and form (prep) components
  • Perform manual placement of components
  • Apply protective masking to components before they enter the soldering machine.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, job orders, specifications, drawings, schematics, process sheets, wiring diagrams, and small print
  • Ability to work with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail to produce quality results
  • Ability to work in a high volume, high detail work environment
  • Ability to read, comprehend and follow instructions (including small print)
  • Ability to manipulate and work with tedious and small parts
Required Experience & Education
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • No experience (previous manufacturing experience preferred)
