Job summary

Intervala, LLC is hiring 20 PCB Assemblers to support a major defense customer in Mount Pleasant, PA. The role involves building THT and SMT PCB assemblies with attention to detail in a high-volume setting. You will read blueprints and follow precise instructions to ensure quality workmanship.

Responsibilities include component prep, manual placement, and applying masking before soldering, with a strong emphasis on accuracy and safety in a precision manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • No previous manufacturing experience preferred but not required.
  • Ability to read blueprints, specifications, drawings, and small print.
  • Must maintain a high level of accuracy in a high-detail, high-volume environment.

Please note: This is very tedious, repetitive work that requires a great attention to detail, fine finger dexterity, and the ability to read small print.

Job Summary & Essential Functions

Build through-hole (THT) and surface mount (SMT) printed circuit board assemblies, placing components on boards per controlled parts lists, drawing documentation and quality workmanship guidelines.

  • Cut and form (prep) components
  • Perform manual placement of components
  • Apply protective masking to components before they enter the soldering machine.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, job orders, specifications, drawings, schematics, process sheets, wiring diagrams, and small print
  • Ability to work with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail to produce quality results
  • Ability to work in a high volume, high detail work environment
  • Ability to read, comprehend and follow instructions (including small print)
  • Ability to manipulate and work with tedious and small parts
Required Experience & Education
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • No experience (previous manufacturing experience preferred)
