Vibra Healthcare in Mechanicsburg, PA is seeking Personal Care Aides for part-time day shifts, working every other weekend (Sat & Sun) from 7am to 3pm. The PCA will help with daily living activities, activities, housekeeping and dining services to support resident health and independence.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent and at least two years of Nurse Aide experience; certification is preferred. Comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities are offered.

Hospital Details

VibraLife is a Rehabilitation Center and Senior Living Community comprised of a short-term rehabilitation/skilled nursing facility as well as an assisted living unit. Located in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, Vibralife is a beautiful, one-story, state-of-the‑art facility that includes the Vibra Rehabilitation Center and Vibra Senior Living. Expertly designed to address comprehensive care and living needs post injury or illness, VibraLife delivers a fully integrated care continuum for both patients and residents.

Responsibilities

The PCA is responsible for the implementation of resident services by assisting with activities of daily living, activity programs, housekeeping services and dining services. The provision of these services must be performed to ensure the health, welfare, safety and independence of our residents is of primary concern.

Required Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent required. Two (2) years of experience as a Nurse Aide or other equivalent experience in lieu of education will be considered.

Additional Qualifications/Skills

• Current, valid, and active certification to practice as a Nursing Assistant as applicable in the state of employment preferred.
• CPR/First Aid training preferred.
• Previous healthcare experience is preferred.
• Phlebotomy training and ECG training preferred.
• Ability to project a professional image.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
• Strong organizational, prioritizing and analytical skills.
• Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
• Working knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions.
• Freedom from illegal use of and effects of use of drugs and alcohol in the workplace.
