Job summary

Vibra Healthcare is seeking Personal Care Aides to join our team in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania. The role is full-time with evening hours (3pm - 11pm) and 8-hour shifts, focused on assisting residents with daily living activities and supporting dining and activity programs in a rehabilitation/skilled nursing setting.

Responsibilities include helping residents with daily tasks, supporting care programs, and performing housekeeping duties while ensuring safety and comfort.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years of Nurse Aide or equivalent experience preferred.
• CPR/First Aid training preferred; healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

The PCA is responsible for the implementation of resident services by assisting with activities of daily living, activity programs, housekeeping services and dining services. The provision of these services must be performed to ensure the health, welfare, safety and independence of our residents is of primary concern.

Required Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent required. Two (2) years of experience as a Nurse Aide or other equivalent experience in lieu of education will be considered.

Additional Qualifications/Skills

• Current, valid, and active certification to practice as a Nursing Assistant as applicable in the state of employment preferred.


• CPR/First Aid training preferred.


• Previous healthcare experience is preferred.


• Phlebotomy training and ECG training preferred.


• Ability to project a professional image.


• Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.


• Strong organizational, prioritizing and analytical skills.


• Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.


• Working knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions.


• Freedom from illegal use of and effects of use of drugs and alcohol in the workplace.
