St. Barnabas Health System in Beaver, PA is seeking a Float Personal Care Attendant / Med Tech to join a mission-driven team.

You will make rounds, assist with ADLs, help with meals, therapy activities, and transport residents to programs while maintaining safety and dignity. Responsibilities

• Make regular rounds on residents, checking for their location, safety, and well-being.
• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), encouraging maximum independence.
• Deliver mail and newspapers to residents.
• Set dining room tables for meals as needed.
• Serve meals/snacks and deliver meal trays to resident rooms.
• Perform basic housekeeping duties (e.g., trash removal, cleaning, and bed-making).
• Manage laundry: collect, wash, dry, fold, and return resident laundry and linens.
• Encourage and assist resident participation in activities and recreational programs.
• Escort residents to and from recreational programs and assist during events.
• Accurately document resident care and services provided.
• Assist with monitoring and recording vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, and weight.
• Address and report customer service issues, concerns, and complaints in a professional manner.
• Attend and complete required in-service education and staff meetings.
• Maintain current CPR and First Aid certifications.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
• Float Premium Requirements: Must be available and willing to work at any clinical building requiring staff coverage.
