Join Our Team as a Home Health Aide or Personal Care Assistant in Oyster Bay

We are seeking certified home health aides and personal care assistants in the Oyster Bay area to be an integral part of our client's care team. As a home health aide with Premier, you will deliver exceptional care that enables our clients to remain safe and comfortable at home. Be a key contributor to our reputation as a national leader in home care!

Duties:

1. Provide personal care to patients in their homes, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
2. Assist with mobility and transfers, ensuring patient safety and well-being.
3. Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals.
4. Monitor vital signs and report any changes or concerns to medical personnel.
5. Offer emotional support and companionship to patients and their families.
6. Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients.

Qualifications:

1. Certified Personal Care Assistant (PCA) or Certified Home Health Aide (HHA).
2. Understanding of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality.
3. Ability to cook simple meals and perform light housekeeping duties as needed.
4. Successful completion of the New York State Health Department-approved HHA Training Program or its equivalent.
5. Basic literacy and arithmetic skills.
6. Must be at least 18 years old.
