Duties

1. Provide personal care including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
2. Assist with mobility and transfers, ensuring safety.
3. Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals.
4. Monitor vital signs and report changes or concerns.
5. Offer emotional support and companionship.
6. Maintain a clean and safe environment.

Qualifications

1. Certified Personal Care Assistant (PCA) or Certified Home Health Aide (HHA).
2. Knowledge of HIPAA and confidentiality standards.
3. Ability to cook simple meals and perform light housekeeping.
4. Completion of NYS-approved HHA training or equivalent.
5. Basic literacy and arithmetic skills.
6. Minimum age of 18 years.
