Job summary

Qualifications

• Valid HHA or PCA Certificate is required.
• Must pass a drug screening and provide immunization documentation.
• Reliable transportation to clients’ homes is necessary.
• Immunization documentation (Rubella & Rubeola) or titers.
• TB screening – QuantiFeron test (positive results require chest X-ray).
• Past agency employment verification or two professional reference letters.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check.
• Valid government-issued ID and Social Security documentation.
• Reliable transportation to commute to clients’ homes (vehicle preferred).
• CDPAP experience may qualify for an ACD class to earn a PCA certificate.

Responsibilities

• Help clients live safely and comfortably at home.

• Safely use assistive equipment like Hoyer lifts and wheelchairs.
• Safely use assistive equipment (Hoyer lifts, wheelchairs, etc.).
