Job summary

ComForCare In-Home Care - Baltimore/Carroll is seeking compassionate caregiving professionals to join their growing team, including PCA, HHA, CNA, GNA, Med Tech, or experienced caregiver.

You will provide personal care, assist with mobility, monitor health, document notes, offer companionship, and follow care plans. A valid certification and background check are required, and a driver’s license is preferred for community visits.

Qualifications

• Active CNA/GNA/Med Tech certification or verifiable caregiving experience (HHA or PCA).
• Pass a background check and drug screen.
• Valid driver’s license and own transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care assistance including bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene support.
• Assist clients with mobility, transfers, and ambulation to ensure safety and comfort.
• Administer or assist with medications as permitted by certification level (Med Techs).
• Monitor and document client health status, reporting changes to supervisors.
• Offer companionship and emotional support to clients and their families.
• Assist with light housekeeping, meal preparation, and errands.
• Follow individualized care plans and maintain accurate care records.

Requirements:

• Active certification as a CNA, GNA, Med Tech, or verifiable caregiving experience (HHA or PCA)
• Compassionate, patient, and reliable with a genuine passion for helping others
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
• Valid driver's license and own transportation required
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
• COVID-19 Vaccinated
• Up to date TB or PPD
• Up to date CPR and First Aid certification
• Previous home care or senior care experience is a plus
