Executive Home Care of Manassas is seeking a dedicated caregiver to provide essential personal care to clients in their homes across Manassas and surrounding areas. You will work closely with a compassionate team to support clients with daily living activities and health monitoring.

The role emphasizes companionship, adherence to care plans, and building lasting client relationships while maintaining professional boundaries and respectful communication.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• PCA/CNA certificate is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification are required.
• Current TB skin test is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, grooming, dressing, personal hygiene).
• Assist with mobility, transfers and ambulation.
• Provide medication reminders and support adherence.
• Prepare meals and monitor nutrition and hydration.
• Offer companionship and engage clients in activities.
• Monitor health status and report changes to the care team.

Responsibilities

• Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs):
  • Provide support with bathing, grooming, dressing, and personal hygiene.
  • Assist with mobility, transfers, and ambulation.
• Medication Reminders:
  • Provide reminders for medication according to prescribed schedules.
  • Support clients in managing their medication routines.
• Meal Preparation and Nutrition:
  • Assist with meal planning and preparation, adhering to dietary requirements.
  • Monitor and encourage proper nutrition and hydration.
• Companionship and Social Interaction:
  • Engage clients in meaningful conversations and companionship.
  • Accompany clients to appointments and social activities.
• Health Monitoring:
  • Observe and report changes in clients' health status to the care team.
  • Document care provided and any notable observations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Previous experience as a caregiver or similar role preferred,
• PCA/CNA certificate preferred.
• Certification in CPR and First Aid required.
• Current TB skin test required.Compassionate and empathetic attitude.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to follow care plans and work collaboratively within a team.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
