Job summary

Southern Hearts Homecare is seeking a compassionate Personal Care Assistant to support clients in Acworth, GA. The role involves helping with daily activities, bathing, grooming, meal prep, and light housekeeping.

You will provide companionship and assist with mobility, following each client’s plan of care, while maintaining privacy and safety. Applicants should have caregiving experience, strong communication, a valid driver’s license, CPR/First Aid, and the ability to pass a background check.

Qualifications

• Experience as Personal Care Assistant or caregiver preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to follow care plans and maintain privacy.
• Physically capable of caregiving duties.
• Background check required.
• Must have reliable transportation and driver's license.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• CPR and First Aid certifications are required.
• TB test current.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living.
