Job summary

Country Meadows Retirement Communities is seeking a Personal Care Assistant (PCA) in the Harrisburg, PA area to provide one-on-one support to residents in daily routines and social activities. No prior experience is required; pay starts at $16.75/hour to $19.75/hour with opportunities to earn more based on shift preference and experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment.
• Skilled in communicating effectively with others, including careful listening and reporting changes.

• Ability to perform the physical tasks required in this role.
• Ability to understand and speak English at a level which allows safe, efficient performance of the job.

PCA Responsibilities:

• Help our residents live their lives to the fullest by assisting them with their routines throughout their day.

PCA Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED.
• 18 years of age or older, except as permitted in 2800.54(d).
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment.
• Skilled in communicating effectively with others, including careful listening, sensitivity to others thoughts and feelings, timely and accurate reporting changes.
• Compassion and patience in all personal interactions.
• Ability to perform the physical tasks required in this type of role.
• Have the ability to understand and speak English at a level which allows the safe, efficient performance of the job.
