Northern Michigan University in Marquette, MI is seeking a PC Technician to deliver Tier 2 technical support and hands-on hardware repair. You will assist students and staff with software installation, network access, and device provisioning across campus.
Qualifications include a degree coursework or higher, and certifications such as ThinkPad/Apple hardware within 12 months. Strong communication and multi-tasking skills are essential, with occasional evening/weekend work.

Work Schedule: Traditionally Monday-Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with occasional evening and weekend work required.
Salary: Targeted Salary Range: $52,275-$55,350
Travel: Less than 10%
Provide basic and advanced (Tier 2) technical assistance to computer and network system users by answering questions, troubleshooting and resolving network access, network service, software, and hardware problems, including but not limited to printing, software installation, word processing, electronic mail, and operating systems for clients in person, via telephone or from a remote location. Provide supervision, technical assistance, and support to student staff.
Required Education: Course work leading to a degree Certificate
