PC Support Technician (Call Center)

Description:

Brooksource’s government client is seeking an individual with call center experience who is accustomed to supporting PCs, laptops, printers, and other peripherals using ticketing software.

The successful candidate will work independently and collaborate with team members as needed to assist internal clients in resolving issues via phone or email. If you are looking to develop and broaden your IT skills, please read on and apply below!

Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot peripheral devices, including printers, scanners, and Apple mobile devices
• Provide telephone support for networking or connectivity issues
• Install and perform minor repairs on hardware, software, or peripherals following specifications
• Diagnose, analyze, and resolve issues for users
• Handle calls and emails from users experiencing problems with software or hardware, or seeking guidance on software, programming languages, email, or operating systems
• Escalate issues according to procedures
• Assist users with problem-solving steps
• Provide accurate and timely responses to general inquiries related to software and administrative environments

Minimum Qualifications:

• At least 1 year of experience in a customer service or call center role
• At least 1 year of IT support experience
• Basic understanding of Windows 10 OS
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
