Christ the King Manor in Clearfield, Pennsylvania, is seeking a compassionate Medication Technician for night shift. You will provide medication administration, assist with activities of daily living, and help maintain resident records with care.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED completed.
• State certification for medication administration required (on-site training provided).
• 1 year of certified Med Tech experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Provide medication administration and treatment assistance per orders.
• Educate and supervise residents who self-administer medication.
• Maintain records of medication distributions and observations.
• Monitor residents' health and report changes.
• Ensure safe storage of medications and maintain a clean medication room.
• Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, eating).
• Support residents’ participation in activities and promote engagement.
• Respond to emergencies and provide first aid as needed.
• Assist with scheduling and coverage as needed.

Medication Technician (Med Tech) – Personal Care Home

Are you a compassionate and reliable caregiver who takes pride in helping others? Our warm and welcoming Personal Care Home is looking for a Medication Technician (Med Tech) to join our Night Shift care team!

As a Med Tech, youll play a vital role in ensuring our residents receive the highest quality care. Youll be responsible for safely assisting with daily living activities, medications and supporting residents with kindness and respect.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide residents with medication administration and treatment assistance according to health care provider's orders
• Educate and supervise resident who self-administer medication such as subcutaneous and oral.
• Maintain awareness of medication interactions and side effects
• Monitor health, safety, and well -being of the residents. Report any changes in resident's physical condition and/or behavior to Administrator.
• Maintain resident records regarding medication distributions, leisure activities, incidents, and observations.
• Properly store medication and equipment and keeps the medication room clean and orderly.
• Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing and eating.
• Encourage and/or remind residents to participate in activities. Promote activities to en thusiastically to pique residents' interest.
• Assist in keeping the environment safe for residents.
• Respond to resident emergencies; provide first aid assistance
• Assist with finding staff for call offs and assisting with scheduling as needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications

Minimum Job Qualifications and requirements

• High School Diploma / GED.
• Completed state certification for medication administration - On site education provided by CTKM.
• 1 year Certified Med Tech Experience necessary, in Health related field preferred.
• Meet state related requirements.
• Must meet CTKM pre-hire requirements.
• Ability to work in a team setting and be a team player.
• Maintain a positive, respectful, and professional approach with coworkers and residents.
• Possess excellent customer and organizational skills.
